Current Position
Physical Therapist
Jannis received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2002 from NYU. She went on to further her education and received an advanced degree, graduating cum laude from the Touro College School of Health Science with BA in Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008.
Jannis gained valuable experience in working in various clinical settings, improving outcomes in patients with acute chronic and post-operative conditions. Recognized for her clinical excellence, Jannis was promoted to a supervisory position as a clinic director in hospital-based rehabilitation settings. Jannis joined the ParkSports/Ivyrehab team in 2022.
With 14 years of experience Jannis has gained valuable expertise to treat a wide range of orthopedic and sports related injuries. As a senior clinician Jannis applied her knowledge to mentor young professionals. Jannis has a passion for expanding her knowledge: she is currently pursuing certification in vestibular rehabilitation.
When not treating patients Jannis is involved in community relations and advocacy for those in need.
