Erik is a native of Park Slope Brooklyn and holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hunter College. He began his journey into the Physical Therapy world as a patient after sustaining several sports related injuries and chronic back pain. In 2017 he had a unique opportunity to work a summer as an aide under several physical therapists in South Australia. It was overseas that he learned to appreciate the craft and skill set that PT’s possess in order to make positive changes in people's lives.
In addition to Physical Therapy, Erik has 8 years of experience as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in Corrective Exercise. Erik believes building strong rapport is crucial to patient progress. He structures his sessions to target the needs of each individual person as a whole rather than just the present condition.
Erik is a nature enthusiast and when he is not in the clinic, Erik can be found wandering around Prospect Park or taking hiking trips upstate.
