Igor grew up in Israel playing soccer. While in college, he played on the men’s soccer team for 4 years. His fascination with the interplay between athleticism, movement patterns and form led him on a path to first become a certified personal trainer and, later, to receive a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hunter College. Igor has a strong interest in manual therapy and has attended numerous courses through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) and Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS). He is working toward becoming a Sport Certified Specialist (SCS), as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). During his free time, Igor continues to play soccer in a men’s amateur league, snowboard, and root for Arsenal.

Patient Testimonials

My current therapist name is Igor. I love this guy. In weeks, I was feeling good after my surgery. Park Sport Physical Therapy is one of the greatest private therapy office in Park Slope, and all of Brooklyn for that matter. The outstanding staff, from the receptionist, billing to your therapist, always go the extra mile, to give that special personal care to a patient. The staff takes a real concern into your questions, regarding insurance, getting approvals for therapy (if needed), and listening to you like family. If you are not happy with your therapy, speak up than and now, your the only one that know your body. The Managing Staff and Great Young Therapist will listen to you and adjust your treatment to make sure your happy, and most of all, you heal, and relieved of pain. They specialize in post operation, to a simple sprain. No matter what your age or injury, the individual care per patient, can not be beat. This is not your typical factory line Therapy Hub. “Do this, Do that, see you next week”, No! It is a friendly comfortable space to work out your injury and feel good. I have suffered a stroke in May of 2008. The very talented and knowledgeable therapists worked very hard with me to regain my strength, without pushing me. They have a keen eye to tell a patient, enough for one day, rest or ice when you get home. You might think your therapist is not watching you, but, they are. In my case, my allotment of visits reached the max with my insurance company, yet, I did not fully recover from my post stroke complications. The managing staff went after more authorized visits, until I could walk cane free. I recommend to book as soon as possible. For the best PT Care in the neighborhood. Even two other family members were cared for by Park Sports Physical Therapy. Only excellent reviews, from my late mother and older brother, who fell between a loading dock and truck. Thank you Park Slope Physical Therapy, for caring for a recent post operation recovery. The operation I had in December of 2016, was not your typical operation. I had bones replaced by implanted rods..ouch! Which was very serious. The therapist wanted to review x-rays and all surgeons notes, before I started with my PT series of session. In New York, it is hard to find this kind of care and service.
