SVETLANA LAZAREV, PT, OCS
After graduating from Hunter College Summa Cum Laude, Svetlana worked at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, gaining experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Svetlana is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. She obtained an Advanced Hip Clinician Certification from the Hospital for Special Surgery in 2012. She is a certified yoga teacher and her treatment approach incorporates yoga and Pilates based exercises.
BORIS GILZON, PT, DPT, OCS, CHT
Boris graduated from Hunter College Summa Cum Laude in 1989. He gained orthopedic and sports rehabilitation experience at Hospital for Joint Diseases - NYU Medical Center. From 1993 to 1999, Boris worked as Chief PT at Brooklyn Spine and Arthritis Center of New York Methodist Hospital. He became a Board Certified Hand Therapist in 2001 and passed the Orthopedic Specialty Board examination in 2009. Boris obtained his DPT degree from Long Island University in 2012. He received certification in Pilates instruction in 2003. Boris is an Associate Professor at CUNY/SI Department of Physical Therapy. He is a former national level track and field competitor and presently a competitive triathlete.
ALLISON SANCHEZ-MASI, OTR/L, CHT
Allison is a Certified Hand Therapist and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1997 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She received her certification in hand therapy in 2003. Allison is experienced in the treatment of orthopedic and soft tissue injuries in adults and children. She also specializes in the fabrication of custom upper extremity orthotics for support, protection and the prevention of deformities. Allison is fluent in Spanish.

BEATRICE GIURLANI, DPT
Beatrice graduated from the University of Pisa physical therapy program in 2004, where she also received her Master's in Sports Prevention and Trauma Rehabilitation. She went on to receive her Master's in Physical Therapy at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA in 2010. Beatrice is a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Specialist. She recently finished her Clinical Residency Program at NYU and is preparing to sit for the Orthopaedic Specialist Board Examination. Beatrice is an avid runner and completed her first NYC Marathon in 2011. Her special interest is sports related injuries rehabilitation.
VICTOR HERMOSILLO, DPT
Victor Hermosillo DPT, received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Indiana University Northwest in 2006. He continued his education at Touro college where he earned his Doctorate in physical therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science in 2009. Victor gained valuable knowledge and experience during his three years at STAR physical therapy, where he worked with high level athletes and focused on spine and upper extremity injuries. In his free time, Victor enjoys weight training, cycling, running, and playing soccer. Victor has competed in the NYC and Westchester triathlons and will be competing in the Baltimore half marathon and Men's Health Urbanatholon in 2012.
MARK SCHULINGKAMP, DPT
Mark attended Louisiana State University while being trained in Olympic weightlifting by Gayle Hatch and Kurt Hester. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University where he received the Alma S. Merians Research Award for his work focusing on fall prevention with Thelma J. Mielenz at the Mailman School of Public Health. Mark is now pursuing post-graduate training as an orthopedic physical therapy resident at NYU.

SARAH WEIDIG, MS, OTR/L
Sarah graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has experience with treatment of upper extremity orthopedic and soft tissue injuries and specializes in the fabrication of custom upper extremity orthotics. As a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the American Society of Hand Therapy (ASHT), she continues to stay current with the latest research and techniques.
